Short version: no account, no ads tracking, and analytics only if you say yes.
What we collect
You can use Nowish without an account and without giving us any personal details. We don’t sell data and we don’t run advertising trackers.
Analytics cookies
If you accept, we use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog to count visits and see which pages and searches are useful (for example, which filters people use, or searches that found nothing). These tools set cookies and receive your IP address and device information. We use the results only to improve the site. If you decline, none of them are loaded.
Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time:
Location
“Near me” asks your browser for your location only when you tap it. It is used on your device to sort the list and is not sent to us.
Third-party links and maps
Maps are drawn with OpenStreetMap tiles, which means your browser requests map images from their servers. Event and venue links take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. As we don’t keep accounts, in practice this concerns analytics data, which you can stop at any time by declining cookies above.
