Briconet Redoubt

Briconet Redoubt, situated in Marsaskala, Malta, is a historical fortification constructed in 1715 by the Order of Saint John. This coastal redoubt was part of a broader defence strategy to protect the Maltese Islands. While it previously served as a police station, its rich history and commanding presence make it a fascinating spot for visitors. Notably, its name pays homage to the French connection, as it's also known as the Vendôme Entrenchment, adding an intriguing layer to its historical narrative.
