Borġ in-Nadur
Borġ in-Nadur is an intriguing archaeological site near Birżebbuġa, Malta, featuring a remarkable Tarxien phase megalithic temple and remnants of a Bronze Age village, which boasts the earliest known fortification in Malta. This site, perched above St George's Bay, offers a unique glimpse into ancient life, enhanced by nearby Bronze Age cart ruts and silos. A standout feature is the juxtaposition of this ancient heritage with the later-built Saint George Redoubt from 1715–1716, making it a fascinating spot for history enthusiasts.
